Let me ask you something: do you like to go to a new place and feel a warm welcoming? Yes, yes.. Everybody loves it! 

But I am surprised that most of the CEOS, founders an HR department of the companies underestimated the importance of providing a very warm welcoming through a Powerful Orientation and Training program for the new employees/partners.

Only a few companies, like Google, Pinterest and Disney, have a really good Orientation Program and is not a surprise that the employees have the lowest annual turnover rates and are very happy doing their duties.

Here’s some benefits of Orientation and Training Program:

  • First impression is the one that counts the most and Orientation Day is the right moment where you can introduce your brand. Share the heart of your business: culture, mission, vision, basically the ADN that your company has.
  • This training allows you to know more about their habits, mindset and the expectations they have about this new opportunity.
  • Make them feel part of the company and they will visualize themselves growing with you, they’ll feel excited and comfortable since day one and you’ll see everlasting effects. 
  • They become more committed with the role and their functions and they’ll want to start as soon as possible.
  • Share with all your new employees this knowledge and they will be more empowered to embody the spirit of the company. 

It doesn’t matter if your business is starting or you have a big firm company, reprogram your new talents to be successful in everything they do. As Walt Disney said: “Of all things I’ve done, the most vital is coordinating those who work with me and aiming their efforts at a certain goal”.
